Question for the artist?

Artist's description:

This work has been inspired for the Landscape Project, by creating an artwork in any medium based on photographs of the Landscape by others.

I have chosen to base my work on a photograph by Abigail which depicts a photograph of the Landscape with cloudy sky and appears to be wheat grass. (see last image)

I have taken a different stance for this work, by digitally enhancing the image, to bring out more of the blue's in the Sky, and yellows, orange & reds in the Land, then pixelating into a square grid of 8 by 8, similar to that of a chess board. I have arranged the horizon to be equally spaced between the Sky and the Land. In the work, I'm suggesting conflict between the Sky & Land, maybe about to Rain on the Land, like two players in the Board Game, Chess.

The first image is the final work, the second image was the enhanced digital image, and the third image is hidden message in Binary Code. Spells the Words, Land & Rain in Binary, thus from top left to right 01101100 is Letter 'L' in Binary. In the final image I have taken in the Top Half colour of the Sky, Blue and used the complimentary colour of Orange, Red of the Land, Binary Squares, similarly, I've taken the Land Orange & Red and used the complimentary colour of Blue's, Binary Squares. Suggesting conflict like Chess pieces on the Chess Board, in pieces invade each others space/side of the board, like Rain invading the Land. The Last image is the reference photograph taken by Abigail, later repositioned cropped to Square.
