Artist's description:

Lancaster Walk is a beautiful tree-lined avenue in Kensington Gardens - one of the Royal Parks in London. The walk was realigned when the Albert Memorial was built in 1872. This view shows the old and new alignments - replanted at the time with London Plane trees.

This is an image from my book "Kensington Gardens Treescapes" - available here... http://markzytynski.photography/kensington-gardens-treescapes

I make my prints using a professional inkjet printer and have developed a technique using a cotton-based watercolour paper that emphasises the subtle colours and textures of the grasses, bark and other natural elements in the scene.
