I've recently become addicted to RuPaul's Drag Race. Mostly I'm drawn to the incredible creativity... the reinventing of oneself into a fabulous bird of paradise. I find the transformation to be pure art. One of the most successful and bewitching new drag queens is Violet Chachki. Her costumes are the most exquisite works of stitchery, her Erte look is beyond gorgeous and her pin-up looks rival Bettie Page and Dita Von Teese. This painting is a tribute to her classic beauty and killer style.
