Artist's description:

Her eyes held the power of the ocean,
Tugging against the moon, causing the tide
Behind those shimmering sapphires
An innocence was desperately trying to hide

For others her mask worked perfectly
They were hypnotized by the electric rain.
Mysterious and deeply captivating
I saw past the illusion, straight to her pain

With the profoundness of the Royals
Sprinkled with flecks of unfathomable fear
Drawn in on the tidal wave of darkness
Telling me what I desperately need to hear

Something within her flashed trying to cover
Like fluffy clouds trying to cover blue skies
I could wait out this hurricane in her soul
Then I would see past her perfect disguise.

The moment that her mask finally faltered
Without a doubt we both instantly knew
That I held the key to the walls that she built
Through the passage of her true blue
