Carnations and roses in silver and pewter toned pots. I enjoy painting roses. They are endlessly varied and endlessly challenging. I also enjoy painting metallic vases and other objects, even in acrylic where I only have a few seconds to get it right. It's challenging and rewarding. I like the simplicity of how these vases and bowl turned out. They look hard and smooth and cool to the touch and they contrast nicely with the more complex and colorful flowers.
