Artist's description:

I was inspired by the Guatemalan legend of "La Siguanaba". La Siguanaba, is the spirit of what seems like a beautiful woman with long flowing hair, to whom she appears at night to unfaithful men by luring them towards her, as if though in a stage of hypnosis. Once the men get close, she turns around and reveals her horselike face. This frightful sight is believed to scare away the unfaithful tendencies in these men. I wanted La Siguanaba to have a frighting yet alluring presence.
