Original artwork description:

I created this day of the dead painting which is part of the larger series I've been painting for almost five years. It is intended as a way for me to explore my Mexican heritage and culture. Something I was not exposed to growing up in Europe. As an artist I try to convey the richness of my culture in almost everything I paint by using vibrant colors, bold brush strokes, and impressionistic movement.

Materials used:

acrylic paints
