This is a hill that is part of the Tuscan landscape: the cypress trees placed on top outline the territory as many soldiers deployed on the battlefield. Once the cypresses were planted to divide the property and to protect the roads from strong winds. Now these are silent witnesses are monuments to the landscape and are really beautiful to see.
Questa è una collina che fa parte del paesaggio toscano: i filari di cipressi posti sulla sommità disegnano il territorio come tanti soldati schierati sul campo di battaglia. Un tempo i cipressi venivano piantati per dividere le proprietà e per proteggere le strade dai venti forti. Adesso questi testimoni silenziosi sono sono dei monumenti al paesaggio e sono veramente belli da vedere.
