Artist's description:

Chinese colour sumi inks on India handmade paper.
This one goes back to my time living in Vancouver B.C., Canada
An unusual item, but never fails to capture attention.
My paintings in that period were done on location, in one session, without preliminary sketches nor any working lines on the paper. This is paint applied directly on a blank page.
The paper is thick, about 300gm weight, from the Gandhi co-op industries in India.
The close up picture is of higher resolution to be able to get a feel for the texture and brush strokes of the painting.
Time has slightly yellowed this page for a nice effect…. The paint remains as bright as always.
