Artist's description:

Drawn in graphite pencil on a section of newspaper taken from the San Francisco Examiner published on Tuesday May 21st 1957.

The articles included describe the death of Theodore Meyer, owner of a large building firm in San Francisco, but also a ruling by the Tennessee Board of Education denying a delay in desegregation, requested by a school in Memphis.
