Original artwork description:

We the Drawn to the Valley art group were given kind permission to paint, sketch and photograph the grounds and interior of Kelly house near Lifton Devon, this was my plein air oil painting which I decided to do of the coach house and stables, just inside the entrance of the property, the aged look of the buildings and the history behind it, gave me the inspiration to do this scene, the chickens were let out to roam the grounds just after lunch, which I had to include into the final painting.
The painting was completed back at the studio with some fine tuning.
