The painting is inspired by and celebrates Naomie Harris in her first role as Moneypenny, (in Skyfall 2012).
Naomie Harris was the first black Moneypenny and the first Moneypenny to be given a first name (Eve).
The painting captures her look just after she realises she has shot Bond 007. The text is taken from later in the film when she literally gives him a close shave…..
Sal incorporates text into this painting, selecting dialogue from different scenes and plays with our reactions to familiarity and innuendo.
