Kebler Pass II, Original Mixed Media Painting
This piece blends authentic vintage ephemera, acrylic paints and my photography of the mountains on Kebler Pass near Crested Butte, CO, my favorite place on Earth, where the air is crisp and cold, the views are out of this world and the small town has a cozy and authentic feel. Several layers of paint and paper gives a unique, historical perspective to this piece and a modern twist to this beautiful landscape.

Inspired by my passion for travel and nature, my photography marries beautifully with mixed media techniques including acrylic paints, inks and collage. Each piece tells a unique story through the quiet scenes captured, the vintage ephemera incorporated and the touches of paint that when combined creates a new piece that is greater than the sum of its parts.
My work is nature inspired, travel inspired, vintage inspired. I create art that speaks to wide open spaces, quiet places and simpler times.
