Artist's description:

Handmade Japanese mugs, bought at a stall outside a garden in Kyoto, remind me of a wonderful trip to a fascinating country. They are the tokens that remind me that I will go back some day.

I loved the fact that every mug is slightly different. That the earthy unglazed clay is offset by the clear colour of the glazed sections.

Materials used:

Watercolour on 300gsm paper
