Artist's description:

This close-up portrait of a Japanese macaque in the Arashiyama district of Kyoto creates a powerful feeling of intimacy, as if we are glimpsing another world at once foreign and familiar.

This print is made using the Lambda C-Type process on Fuji Crystal Archive paper. Lambda C-Type printing gives true continuous tone, ultra sharp photographic images with crisp and precise edge to edge printing and absolutely no distortion.

The edition is limited to 7 prints. Each print is signed and numbered on the front and is sold with a Numbered Certificate of Authenticity.

Other print and edition sizes are available for this image. I can also arrange framing if required (at additional cost). Please contact me at for details and to discuss your requirements.
