This painting is a unique piece that formed part of my early collection of oil paintings. I wished to create a piece of work that may provide the viewer with their own story behind it. Prior to creating this my first thought was to think of a background and decided to use the beautiful marble caves of Chile as the backdrop. My next thought was what should I place inside these caves. Traditional Chilean dancers were a must plus a rather shy looking dragon dressed in skirt looking on. While this dancing is going on in the background are rock climbers. I love painting rock formations and particularly enjoyed using the palette knife enabling different textures.
Perfect for adding a statement piece to living spaces that may create a talking point with visitors.
Executed in good quality oil paints, painted on all sides, and finished with a glaze of gloss varnish to protect against sunlight and dust. It just needs a nail or wall fitting to sit flush against the wall.

The painting is 28 x 36 inches, with a depth of 1 inch and is on stretched canvas.
