Artist's description:

The previous evening, my artist friend Kristina and I had just watched a painting video of Peter Brown, a British artist who paints plein air in any kind of weather, even snowfall! We were planning on painting at Waikiki Beach that morning, and the forecast was rain. We looked at each other and said, if Peter can do it, so can we! Of course, my supplies got wet but I came out with a decent painting, very evocative of the Oregon coast.

Materials used:

Oil paint, walnut oil medium, pencil undersketch
