On the last ferry back from Vinalhaven Maine, we pass many islands that glow in the evening light. I remembered this scene which remained with me since 1989. The island shines in the moonlight as dusk fast approaches. On this night the sea was like a reflecting pond mirroring the soft colors in the sky. Painted from the heart I hope you like it too.
