▶︎Behind the Scene Creative Journey
'Is It A Mirage?' is the 5th artwork in an ongoing series of 10 environmental art pieces that I have created. This series is heavily inspired by comparative satellite images of earth taken from space, capturing drastic environmental changes over time due to the warming climate. I have experimented with various forms of acrylic paints, combined with a few Golden and Liquitex texture mediums, to create these interesting, abstract, robust, authentic, and fragmental environmental-themed artworks, of the fragile planet we ought to preserve. This artwork is actually inspired by the Central Park in New York City.
'To waste, to destroy our natural resources, to skin and exhaust the land instead of using it so as to increase its usefulness, will result in undermining in the days of our children the very prosperity which we ought by right to hand down to them amplified and developed.' Theodore Roosevelt

▶︎Ways to Display
The original is sold unframed and it can be hung as is. However, if you prefer to frame it and give it a more distinctive look on your gallery wall, the emerald green-black colour theme would match extremely well with a simple black or white frame, to create an uniquely contemporary look. Framed or unframed, this is definitely going to be an amazing focal point for your wall space, and a great conversation piece to own.
