Very pleased that this painting is featured in Devon Life Magazine in the July issue. A little bit obsessed with trees at the moment and enjoying painting in the vertical rather than the horizontal. This is inspired by local woods to my home in Devon. I've primed the canvas with shades of deep brown and worked on top in layers to create the trees. I like the darkness of these woods.
Materials used:
Oil, Canvas, Wax Medium and Linseed oil.
