Artist's description:

I painted this while at my parents home in India. A forest scene emerged after a quick improvisation with browns and greens. I delayed making a decision on the subject of painting while I worked on the details of the trees, making sure to leave a clearing where I intended to place....something. The inspiration was long in coming, so I continued to add detail, focusing on the interplay of light and shadows in the clearing. After a while, I almost felt like I should just leave it with just a clearing in the forest. Then I walked into my room one evening where my father's guitar, that I had been tinkering with over the last few weeks, was resting in the corner. It seemed like the perfect fit - a single acoustic guitar placed against a tree, resting before a musician returned to play for the trees.

The painting comes wired and ready to hang in a two-tone textured wooden frame that perfectly complements the earth tones in the painting.
