Taken in Barajas Airport, Madrid, Spain, this photograph of part of the ceiling of the main arrivals hall focuses on the halogen lamps used to illuminate the area. The angle of the photograph, however, invites us to look afresh at something so mundane and ordinary.
This is part of a series of photographs taken in various worldwide locations where the focus is on the everyday, but seen from a different angle, granting us an insight into that which we take for granted every day, and highlighting the simplicity yet also complexity of that which surrounds us.
