Artist's description:

I never get fed up with painting olive trees! I've recently returned from a trip to the lovely Greek island of Corfu and anyone that knows it will be aware that it is covered in olive trees! Apparently the planting was started by the Venetians in the 18th century to provide their own population with olive oil and they are a slightly different variety to the olive trees on mainland Greece, going by the name of Lianolia and with a more upright habit.

Painted using gesso, texture mediums, ink and acrylics on a Loxley Ashgate canvas, I have painted with several layers to add depth and texture and have tried to show this in some of the photos. The painting continues around the sides so that it does not require a frame.

All my pictures are signed originals and will be sent to you carefully wrapped and insured during transit. There is a 14 day return and refund option if you are not completely happy for any reason with your picture when it arrives. Import duties, if any, are the responsibility of the buyer (but usually not applicable). My paintings have been purchased by buyers all around the world, including Australia, USA and France.
