Original artwork description:

This poor fish has found himself stuck in a water bottle, was he thirsty or did he grow up inside after swimming into it at sea? We'll never know.
I've add a little speech bubble that says "save me" which could be interpreted as saving marine life or water.

Sometime ago I made some collage doodles in a book and sent them off to The New York Sketchbook Library where they now live.

I had great fun revisiting this image for inspiration and painting it in acrylic gouache, which has the permanence of acrylic with the smooth matte effect of gouache.
It was lovely paint to use and look forward to doing more in this series.
This 6x12 inch cradled wood panel roughly the length of an A4 and half the width is ready to hang. The background and edges are painted white.

This piece just fit on my scanner, so the colours are very representative of how it looks in real life as I see it, however monitor variations can vary.

Naturally as a concerned citizen I try to minimise my footprint, so receive this packed well in recyclable packaging for a safe journey.
