Formations and mountains painted from my location sketches in the Buckskin Mountains. Rugged and beautiful. The severe landscape of the Buckskins can be surreal. The mountains reach for the sky and the clouds roll in the background.
I had a wonderful encounter with a coyote while I was making watercolor sketches for this painting :-)
