Artist's description:

Clyde Puffers were once a common sight around the West coast of Scotland. Their flat bottoms allowed them to beach themselves and then unload on islands that did not have piers. The castle in the background is Stalker Castle near Oban, perhaps well known from a certain Monty Python film.

This is a digital painting. By that, I mean that it is painted on computer using a digital pen and pad. This is as original as a hands-on watercolour or oil painting. The only difference is that it is digitally saved and therefore has to be printed. It is printed onto Hahnemuhle Silk Pearl paper which gives the best quality of colours and detail and does not fade over time. I sell them unframed for ease of postage but please do ask if you wish it to be framed.
