Imaginary landscape #1
This is an original, one of a kind woodcut print of a relaxing abstract landscape from my mind. I look at this and can hear the waves crashing on the beach. Bliss.
The foreground detail is painted using drawing ink to represent an old crumbly wall. I love the texture the wood grain gives to the overall image.
It is printed using black and process red oil-based ink onto fine Japanese tosa washi woodblock paper.
This print fits comfortably in a mounted 40 x 50cm frame, it could even fit a slightly smaller frame too.
Edition size: This is a unique monoprint, although there are 4 other slight colour variations of this image.
The print comes unmounted and unframed for ease of postage, but I will be happy to provide advice on framing. All prints are shipped and packaged with great care.
