‘I’m so square and dotty…I love being me’ is an original drawing measuring 164mm x 164mm square in size. ‘I’m so square and dotty…I love being me’ has been drawn in pencil and ink. Texture and detail has been added with the skinniest of pen nibs which creates lots of detail to look at. I love to experiment with abstract shape and pattern within a drawing and my imagination meanders in a happy way as I draw using words to tell a small tale within the drawing.
Whoever you are, whatever you do, this drawing sets out to remind the onlooker that it’s great to be who you are…tall, short, serious, daft, a good singer on stage, a better singer in the shower, a fabulous cook or an egg burner….you are unique and it’s in every one of us to be special. This square dog with dotty tendencies loves being him…who wouldn’t?
