A couple sitting on benches on the High Street try to avoid an unwelcome presence that has suddenly appeared near them. We are not sure who this person is.
The title refers to the words the woman speaks to her husband, but it is too late and he can't help himself.
This painting is from a series of paintings of everyday people in the streets of Swansea. I wanted to do simple, direct poignant paintings which expressed pathos.
