The resource material for it was some photos I took in February 2005. There was icebergs floating down the Danube. For a while I visited Budapest once or twice a year. The firm I worked for had an office there as they did in most European countries. The photos were taken from our hotel room. The picture is the twin of Budapest Chain Bridge also for sale in this shop. The resource photos for that were taken the night before this painting.
