Artist's description:

This lovable ice bear is looking for a comfortable, not over-heated home. She would prefer somewhere with a large and well-stocked freezer.

I first saw a polar bear many years ago at Edinburgh Zoo and have been in love ever since. Edinburgh's bear, Mercedes, was rescued from her native Canada after she was scheduled to be shot, having roamed into a nearby town in search of food. She is the inspiration for this print.

This is from a limited edition of 50 (also available in dark blue). It is hand printed on British-made 300gsm Somerset paper. All prints are individually numbered and signed.

Minor variations occur naturally through the printmaking process and each print is original.

This print is unframed and unmounted.

All prints are board-backed, wrapped in cellophane and carefully packed for shipping.

Materials used:

300gsm Somerset paper, oil-based inks, linoleum
