Original artwork description:

This abstract work is painted on heavy handmade paper (grammage 640 g/m). It cannot be rolled like normal paper. The work is painted in a light and airy way and plays with hints. There are small sketchy scribbled notes and the work expresses speed. We can guess a person but not see who she is talking to. Or is she just talking to herself? Petra Schott loves to keep her work open for interpretation. With her work she wants to open up spaces of freedom beyond words.

Materials used:

oils, oil sticks, acrylic marker, graphite, charcoal
