Artist's description:

The revered CHANEL NO.5 is created using the most simple and basic food - BREAD. The inexpensive bread is toasted and arranged in a quandrant to form the iconic carcass of this legendary parfum. The bread is painted in gold as a symbolism of the notions of luxury, status and need.

I strongly question the definition of hunger and luxury. Of staple and status. What feeds you personally? I believe and hope with the right education and awareness, the hunger of luxury can assist and benefit the hunger of those living disadvantageously.

Would you like a bottle of Chanel No.5?

Materials used:

ACRYLIC, RESIN, METALLICE GOLD PAINT, BREAD AND UV SATIN VARNISH
