Artist's description:

I had a vision in a dream about a global egalitarian society.

This painting was mapped out in pencil to get the proportions tweaked. I then simply painted it in acrylic paint. I decided to give the black and white a paint knife finished texture with brush marks underneath. The red equals sign was given a sharper edge by scotch taping the perimeter of the rectangles. I sealed it in gloss liquitex transparent clear varnish.

Sociological Inequality is the cause of much suffering.

"You may say I'm a dreamer" however this painting was created to remind us of the fact that we are all created fundamentally equal.

Humana Aequalitas is double mounted in Cardinal Red and Smooth White with a mid grey painted wooden frame and super clear acrylic safety glass.

Materials used:

3mm Card, Lukas, Royal Talens and Golden Acrylics, Liquitex Gloss Varnish, 2B Pencil.
