A figurative painting in acrylic on canvas depicts a woman curled into a compact, protective pose, holding herself in a gesture of tenderness and self-support. Soft pink and warm flesh tones contrast with a deep blue background, creating an intimate atmosphere of vulnerability, calm, and emotional closeness.

This work explores self-support as a form of inner care the ability to become a source of comfort for oneself. When we grow up, we can learn to recognize and soothe the vulnerable part of ourselves, offering it the safety, tenderness, and acceptance it once needed from others.
The curled position becomes a gesture of returning inward: allowing oneself to pause, soften, and simply be held by oneself. The work speaks about self-love not as an abstract idea, but as a quiet physical experience of staying close to oneself.

The painting belongs to my ongoing exploration of inner states and the human body as a language of emotions, where gesture and posture can express what words cannot.
This painting was exhibited as part of my solo exhibition and belongs to a body of work in which I explore inner transformation, human potential, and the emotional landscape of becoming.
