“Life, to be sure, Is nothing much to lose, But young men think it is, And we were young.” ― A. E. Housman.
Last year we marked the 100th anniversary of the outbreak of the First World War. As we approach this anniversary once again I have returned to the powerful words of war poetry. These voices echo through the century and here in memoriam is my monoprint collage, illustrated by freehand using digital pen and pad and created using the words of one of the great war poems, Here Dead We Lie.
