Oil on Canvas 30 x 40 cm - a snow scene. A local landmark with a bit of history. As the name suggests, a snuff mill was located just behind the bridge which spans the River . This was a key industry in the early Cathcart Burgh before being swallowed up by Glasgow. The area retains a quirky feel and shows evidence of both the classic church v state and feudal history (a riff development) and non standard early victorian tenements.
