Ahhh, Sayulita, Mexico at sunset. In 1983 it was nothing more than a small fishing village with 3 miles of mostly empty beach. Dana was an exceptional horsewoman so Hooper had visions of her naked on a big stallion, splashing and dancing in the water at sunset. When we spoke with the locals hoping to find such an animal they assured us the villagers would find the very best. As it turned out, all their skilled horseman were gone to another town for a festival and the only horse they could find was this small Spanish "Paso Fino".

There was only one sunset left before we had to fly home so Dana played and danced around the beach with this little horse til we lost light. The next morning when we were leaving for the airport, outside our casa was the most magnificent black horse and rider decked out in black & silver, spurs jangling as he preformed on the beach. The goucho had just heard about our quest and was there to offer his horse "the most beautiful horse in the land". We were out of time. Too bad. Still, the photos of Dana nude on this little horse turned out to have their own charm. Best laid plans....
