About my work:

Sometimes a painting can say more than a thousand words.

I didn’t understand the horror of war until a few years ago I went on a trip to Kanchanaburi to see the 'Bridge over the River Kwai' and 'hellfire pass’. It’s called Hellfire Pass because the sight of emaciated prisoners labouring at night by firelight was said to resemble a scene from hell.

Until then I didn't understand the horrors of war, I do now, and it left me with a feeling I will never forget It is the most haunting place I have ever been to, you almost feel the pain of the men and women who died there.

My work is displayed in over 36 countries, including some iconic places like Berkeley Square in London’s Mayfair, 5th Ave New York, Malibu beach and Hollywood in California and the latest is Denmark.

To; The Bahamas, Brazil, Canada, Denmark, France, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Mexico, Monaco, Monte Carlo, Peru and Singapore, Sweden, Switzerland to name a few in fact one of my best collectors is in Amsterdam which is not short of great artist or galleries, I’m very proud of that.
The paintings that I create are meant to inspire and uplift, as well as enhance your interiors. I believe that our homes should be sanctuaries that surrounds us with comfort, colour, beauty and the things we love. If you feel an emotional connection to a work, or you just love the colours and the art makes you feel good, then I've accomplished what I set out to do.

Blanc a New York-based magazine wrote an article about me recently, it went on to say Ta has a special interest in character development and portraying “a little of the night…coming from my dreams and imagination.” This combined with her passion for colour psychology draws the viewer in and leaves them there, whether Ta is using oil on canvas, charcoal and pastels, watercolours, acrylic on wood or pencil.

To say that Ta is a versatile artist is an understatement—creating modern, contemporary, and folk art that includes portraiture and figure drawing in its vast subject matter and explores periods of Impressionism, Expressionism, and Cubism with influences from Botticelli to Lowry and Magritte.

At the start 2018, the editors of ArtFinder tipped me for the top as one to watch and invest in, picked from thousands of outstanding artists, I ended the year as one of their best selling artists.
