You can't get much more calm or minimalist than this little piece! One of a series, Brighton Glimpses, made on reclaimed cedar blocks with acrylic paints, pigments and (sometimes) silver leaf.
These are little intimate moments and scenes from a seaside town - some well-known places, others hidden corners. The light on the south coast is famous! I'll be making them on impulse and to commission. They are simply framed in white-washed wood.
Each works on its own. Ideally, though, they hang in groups of three or five or more. So I have priced them to make it possible, maybe, to buy more than one.
