Artwork description:

Ltd Edition of 33, hand-finished, spot-gloss varnished giclée print on Hahnemuhle Photorag paper.

The first piece from the In the Fade collection. The Beech Street tunnel that leads to the Barbican in London has this muted, yet striking block panelling that was the inspiration to this piece. The starkness of the collaged building set against the open sea gives a sense of isolation but equally a sense of wider world that needs to be explored.

PART OF THE ‘IN THE FADE’ COLLECTION
An unexpected ending. Now nothing is familiar. You are nowhere. You are no one. You are In The Fade. Snapshots of false architectures, pivotal journey’s, expansive living, exploration, isolation but with the hope of a new beginning.

Prints are from mixed-media collages, created with original photography, spray painted panels, stencils, screen printing and giclée printing on a variety of papers. All prints signed and stamped by the artist. Featuring original photography from San Francisco, Las Vegas, London, Portugal, Cornwall, New York, Florida, Mexico, Amsterdam, Spain, Cuba, and other places I can’t remember.

Materials used:

Hahnemuhle Photorag Paper, Handpainted spot gloss varnisj
