Jean-Michel Basquiat started off as a graffeti tagger in NYC and went by Samo. If you don't like
Jean-Michel Basquiat then chances are you are insane and should check yourself in.
This piece was done on primed unstretched canvas and crudely framed in the spirit of the early works of the artist. He couldn't keep up with demand and was uising damn near anything for stretchers. Anyway...hope you like it.
It's acrylic paint, charcoal and soft pastels on a primed roughly 53 X 30 inch unstretched canvas held on by fancy thumb tacks on a crude frame.
