Artist's description:

Original Acrylic and mixed media figurative abstract with patterned papers layered with paint and finished with oil pastel, ink and Acrylic details, the painting abstractly represents a group of people, a family perhaps, hugging, huddling together. They are seated on the ground and are perhaps waiting for something, there is a suggestion of desperation and the image is reminiscent of many we have seen in recent years of refugees in camps, town centres, en route somewhere - maybe this is their story. There are scribbles. scratches, architecture, a crowd, an archway, and other abstract marks...and a pair of black birds. This Artwork was painted in April 2017.

Part of a series of works - This painting is 20cm X 20cm or approx 8" X 8" and would look great mounted in a floating frame or behind glass. Do check dimensions carefully and any questions? please do ask :)

Please be aware that colours may appear different to those on your screen and will look different in different lights.
