31 March 2015 marks the retirement of the Sea King from the UK military, where it has served in the Search and Rescue role with distinction for many years; the aircraft has been in service for over four decades. Living so close to our local SAR unit, 202 Sqn, I couldn't let the occasion pass without paying tribute to the aircraft and crews who have performed this testing job for so long. This painting is available to purchase, mounted but unframed.
Professional quality watercolour on 100% cotton rag archival quality watercolour paper. Mounted with mountboard ready for framing.
