Artist's description:

A Caduceus or a Hermes wand of two entwined octagonal star snakes in fine gold makes up a bird's breast. The snakes' heads and the bird's beak meet in a tiny ball of fine palladium and fine gold. The top chased and the bell cast and forged in 935 sterling silver. An airy and chrystalline sound. Signed and hallmarked inside the bell well above the brim.
