Artist's description:

This deliciously dark and moonlit landscape is inspired by a landmark that looms on the horizon to the north east of where I live.

It catches the sun and glows like a beacon on summers evenings at sunset and captures the first frosts and snows of winter.

I feel very attached to this particular clump of trees, it is a comforting presence and my grandparents were engaged here in the 1930s .

Painted with a very limited palette of just three pigments on rough handmade cotton rag paper the moonlight is captivating.

Offered unframed and unmounted for you to present as suits your decor.
This work will be rolled and shipped in a heavy duty cardboard tube- special delivery.

Materials used:

100% cotton rag watercolour paper, W&N and Daniel Smith professional watercolour paints.
