Artist's description:

This work started as a mixed media experiment.
First as a Water colour wash of layer after layer, searching until the image came through.
Then Charcoal was introduced drawing in the figures that started to appear.
In my painting and mixed media, I like to leave the past showing in the present, layers of the beginning appearing through to the end.
When creating a piece with figures in it, I like that they all have interaction with one another, they are intertwined, connected.
As in life, we are all connected in some way.
Closer then we think.
