Oil on hand made extra fine grain linen board. 30x24cm (11.8x9.5ins) unframed, 33x27cm (13x10.6ins)
This was painted using resource material provided for the purpose by a photography friend. The ladies are heading home at sunset after their day’s work. The thing that looks like arrows sticking out of her basket is her brush made from some stiff twigs or reeds bound together at one end.
