Artist's description:

This is the last of a series of eight portraits , all from the same subject. The last one is usually the thickest most sculptured painting. Reaching this stage is my happiest moment.
This painting has travelled around through exhibitions. One gallery owner said public response to my works were "marmite". Great I love marmite. Yet I`d like to meet the people who hated my works, I`m intrigued.
Thick impasto oil paint on Victorian story paper.
White box frame, floating mount.

Materials used:

Oil impasto on paper
