This is where I grew up, learnt how the land was worked, discovered how beautiful the countryside could be, its infinite hue, colour and light, and the scents that are pure nature, each changing every second throughout the day and night.

Yes, as a young artist I carried my easel, paints and sketchbooks across the fields in every weather, season and time of day.. to enjoy, celebrate and experience the work and this land at first hand. Now my adventures take me far from home and where, every time I learn a little more to confirm my view that this very special unique world we share is amazing everywhere I look. It is without doubt our most precious gift that deserves our respect, care and love, not least for the life it bestows upon us all.
